Ideas for kids obstacle course
« on: February 24, 2012, 05:19:49 PM »
The boys birthday is coming up.  I think for his birthday party we are going to camp and do an obstacle course along the lines of warrior dash/spartan races kind of stuff.  Some of the stations I'm thinking about are agility cones, running through tires, climbing rope with mixed in stations of padded stick fighting (single stick, double stick, pugil stick and stick and shield).  I'm also toying with putting in a station for BB gun shoots. Any suggestions for stations?

If it's warm enough and you have showers ( or at least a lake) you need to include a water & or mud section.

Boys love getting muddy.

this place has the world's greatest dads.  won't you need smaller tires for kids?

even at the BBQ, I keep a 26 in my boot.
I would never vote for O'Bama.  Too many friends dead because of ROEs and policy that came out after Barry fired McCrystal and put in a series of political pussy generals to run Afghanistan.

Dammit.  Forgot about tug of war.

After 4 hours of having a bunch of screaming boys I might just release the hounds.

My brothers college buddy is actually in bangledesh right now trying to sell the poopeaters on Fire Suppression in Building, so they dont have another factory fire that kills 500 people

I told him he was getting in the way of natural selection, he didnt think that was funny.

Obstacle course was a hit!  Had to stop running it because we ran out of daylight.  The best part is the kids were so smoked from the obstacle course when they finally laid down they crashed right out.  Well worth the time and $$$ setting it up.  It only took me about 2 hours to set up and about 200$
